Walk with Life
The girl fled to the palace of Life and prayed for its protection. But Life had made a bet with the enemy and could not intervene, and instead plucked some leaves from the ginkgo tree in the yard to console the girl. The girl left disappointed, and at the gate of the palace, Death arrived to meet her. "I will walk with you until Life changes its mind," Said Death, then merged with the leaves and the girl put the ginkgo leaves on her feet.
